Ballet: Explores the basic elements of ballet. Ballet exercises including barre work, center work, and across the floor combinations, combined with creative lessons in rhythm, coordination, balance, and musicality.

Contemporary Modern: integrates various styles including Jazz, Modern, Ballet, and African dance. Movement also includes gestural and pedestrian movements, floor work, and choreography integrated with studies in rhythm, speed, direction, and weight shifting.

​

Creative Movement: Movement experience that include activities and creative play to develop students’ motor skills, spatial awareness, movement quality, sense of rhythm, coordination, and balance.

​

Hip-Hop/Party Moves: includes a variety of styles ranging from more traditional styles such as breaking, locking, house and popping as well as trendy commercial movements.

​

Improvisation: Exploration of movement creativity, abstract thinking, interdisciplinary art, and the art of falling.

​

Jazz: includes its roots in African American vernacular dance, jazz music, social dance, swing, and Broadway while exploring musicality and rhythm.

​

Majorette/Band Dance: high-energy, synchronized, rhythmic dance moves that draw from ballet, jazz, modern dance, hip-hop and gymnastics. Mostly seen in a competition or high-stepping marching band setting.

​

Movement Composition: Process of learning how to create a dance through the exploration of choreographic devices.

​

Move with Me: One on one movement experience with parents/guardians and children. Also includes singing, nursery rhymes, activities, and props while students develop their basic motor skills, coordination, and self-expression.

​

Step: Exploration of body percussion with synchronized movements and percussive beats.

​

Tap: Explores the basic elements of tap, rhythm, musicality, and body percussion.

​

Zumba: A fun and energetic dance based workout that involves Latin and World rhythms. Workout includes fitness, cardio, muscles conditioning, and balance and flexibility.
