A.J. Collabs (AJC) is a movement based company in which Anastasia Johnson strives to utilize the company to integrate various performing arts forms to create fascinating yet relatable experiences for the audience. AJC is committed to use the vehicle of movement to address the social and cultural issues in this nation. The company provides movement, vocal, musical, spoken word, other self identified creator collaborators the creative opportunity to be a part of an interactive artistic process.

After completing undergrad, Johnson longed to create work again and decided to develop  AJC in 2018 during an improvisation session. Since then AJC has been able perform in multiple festivals and showings within the DMV area. One work called, rely on reliance, was presented in the Small Plates Festival in Lorton, VA, Work-In-Progress showing in Washington, DC, and the Ascending Choreographer’s Festival in Edgewood, MD. Another work called, Sometime Y,  has been presented in the Coalescence: A Visual and Performing Arts Showing in Washington, DC.
